Lake & Wren was born out of a deeply transformative season of my life: becoming a mother to my beautiful baby girl. As a woman, I’ve always looked to fashion as a way to feel good, comfortable, and confident. But it was during my postpartum journey that I truly realized the power of clothing. I wanted to step out into public spaces feeling stylish and put-together, while still prioritizing comfort and staying true to who I am.
Living in our beautiful small town on Payette Lake, I realized we had limited local access to the kind of women's fashion that brings that vision to life. I wanted to change that.
The name Lake + Wren is a tribute to the place we call home. "Lake" honors Payette Lake, the heart of our community. "Wren" represents the feeling of waking up on a crisp spring or summer morning to the sound of singing birds—a reminder to embrace the nature that surrounds us and the simple joys of small-town life.
